血を流すアリシアと、眼球が飛び出すところはエグかった。
あの小さな頭蓋骨が潰れたときの音には、本気で顔をしかめたよ。
今はクレバテスとの繋がりが断たれているから、本当にここで死ぬ可能性だってある。
だからこそ、ほとんど全身の骨が折れた状態で脱出したのがさらにヤバいんだ。

おまけにアンドリューは植物みたいな能力と根っこの巨人を使う「グルート」状態だ。

ネズミアリシアが木に押し潰されて、キーッと鳴いた直後に血溜まりになったところはエグすぎた。
文字通り女版スバルだろ。
この子、本当に全然休ませてもらえないな。

眼球を眼窩に押し戻す。

ものすごく真剣なハロウィンパーティーに参加してるみたいだ。
“I didn’t expect Royes to come to the place where Alicia and Andrew were. Though it didn’t stop Alicia from being literally crushed. Her comment that her skull shattered totally cracked me up. Naie, as usual, is so entertaining. I love how she was trying everything to delay attacking Klen. I wonder though, why she didn’t hear Vordin while the students did, is it because of Klen’s influence perhaps?”
ロイエスがアリシアとアンドリューのところへ来るとは思わなかった。
まあ、それでもアリシアが文字通り押し潰されるのは止められなかったけど。
「頭蓋骨が砕けた」っていうアリシアのコメントには完全に笑ってしまった。
ナイエは相変わらず面白すぎる。
クレンへの攻撃を遅らせるために、ありとあらゆる手を使っていたのが好きだ。
ただ、生徒たちにはヴォーデインの声が聞こえたのに、どうしてナイエには聞こえなかったんだろう？

俺が面白いと思うのは、彼女が全然弱くないってところなんだよ。
それなのに精神はすっかり折れてて、「まあ、そういうもんだよね」って全部受け入れちゃってる。
絶対ミレニアル世代だろ。

木から抜け出すことに成功しただけで、必死に繰り出した唯一のパンチは見事に空振り。

それにクレバテスが一話ずっと塔の上に立って、ひたすら威圧感を稼いでるのが面白い。
どうやらあの書があれば、自分の領域の外にも力を広げられるみたいだな。

“Okay how many mirrors did Naie break to have this much bad luck she can’t catch a break even when she trys to stay in the village instead of fighting clevatess also at least Alicia finally has an Ally to help her out even if she is getting questioned by the bird it’s still much better then the alternative”
ナイエは一体何枚の鏡を割ったら、ここまで運が悪くなるんだ？
クレバテスと戦わずに村に残ろうとしても、全然災難から逃げられないじゃないか。
まあ少なくともアリシアには、ようやく助けてくれる味方ができた。
鳥に尋問されてるとはいえ、他の展開よりはずっとマシだろ。
“Naie instructing the kids to help with the evacuation instead of fighting was pretty hilarious. She really is desperate not to fight and make sure these kids survive. Too bad for her, Klen has other plans. xD”
ナイエが生徒たちに、戦うんじゃなくて避難を手伝えって指示してたのはかなり笑った。
本当に戦いたくなくて必死だし、同時にこの子たちを生き残らせようとしてるんだよな。
残念ながらクレンには別の計画があるみたいだけど。

無限ハサミ連打は完全に壊れ性能だ。

『Vermintide』を何十時間もプレイしてるから……ある。

Everyone is saying this, and I’m so confused. Alicia caught so many breaks this episode. Her skull, her arm, honestly probably most of the bones in her body except for the really small ones, like the ones in her ear….”

みんなそう言ってるけど、俺はすごく混乱してる。
アリシア、今回めちゃくちゃたくさん「break」してたじゃん。
頭蓋骨、腕、それに正直、耳の中みたいなすごく小さい骨以外は全身のほとんどが折れてるだろ……。
“I love how every other episode some of the characters in disguise realise other characters are doing the same and conspiring for/against others. Eventually they confront each other with a “fine, no more secrets” kind of vibe and come clean with what they’re up to investigating the school. Then the next episode rolls around and the plot unravels even more and the cycle repeats.”
何話かごとに、変装して潜入してるキャラが「こいつも同じことやってるじゃん」って気づいて、しかも互いに誰かのためだったり敵対するためだったりして陰謀を巡らせてるのが大好きだ。
最終的に「分かった、もう秘密はなしだ」みたいな空気になって、お互い学校で何を調べてるのか全部打ち明ける。
そして次のエピソードになると、さらに陰謀が明らかになって、また同じサイクルが始まるんだ。
深い考察系
“I’m so curious as to why Vordin, a Lord of Dark Beasts, would want to revive the legend of the true hero, the only power capable of contending with someone of his level. Is it really as simple as he just wants to control said hero if they gain that power so he can have it to himself? Idk seems like there’s more to it than that”
魔獣王であるヴォーデインが、どうして「真の勇者」の伝承を復活させようとしているのか、本当に気になる。
真の勇者って、ヴォーデインと同じレベルの存在に対抗できる唯一の力なんだろ？
その力を得た勇者を支配して、自分のものにしたいっていう単純な理由なんだろうか？
分からないけど、もっと何かありそうな気がする。
“My guess is that he’s bored. Like, existential crisis level bored. He called their time period an age of stagnation, after all. And he’s been around much, much longer than the other Lords of Dark Beasts. I’d put it at 50/50 odds that he either just wants something to do or he’s trying to create a True Hero strong enough to end him.”
俺の予想では、あいつは退屈してるんだと思う。
実存的危機レベルで退屈してる。
実際、今の時代を「停滞の時代」って呼んでたからな。
しかも他の魔獣王たちより、はるかに長く生きてる。
単純に何か刺激が欲しいだけなのか、それとも自分を終わらせられるほど強い「真の勇者」を作ろうとしているのか。
可能性は五分五分だと思う。
“Isn’t it kind of ominous that Garm appeared as his true self in the mirror world. Like what if that gray zombie appearance is actually the true form of modern humans, in fact what if “humans” are just another variety of dark beast too?”
鏡の世界でガルトが本来の姿に見えていたのって、なんだか不穏じゃないか？
もし、あの灰色のゾンビみたいな姿こそが現代の人間の本当の姿だったら？
というか、もし「人間」も魔獣の一種に過ぎなかったとしたら？
“So it’s basically confirmed that Vordin wants the books to restore the legend and bring back the era of the heroes. Did he really love the era of constant war against the hero that he’s trying to bring back? He also mentions that stopped time must be forced to move, so I guess he’s also tired of the stagnation the current era is stuck in.”
つまりヴォーデインは、トアの書を使って勇者伝承を復活させ、勇者の時代を取り戻したいってことでほぼ確定したわけか。
勇者と絶えず戦争をしていたあの時代が、本当にそんなに好きだったから復活させたいのか？
それに「止まった時を無理にでも動かさなければならない」とも言っていた。
やっぱり今の時代の停滞そのものに飽き飽きしているんだろうな。
“Vordin again dropped some little tidbits about the past, and since I read one comment here I can’t shake the feeling that the true hero from the past became Vordin himself or at least somehow these two have merged, since the hero’s colors are exactly the same as his.
Also, there is still the question of why Vordin wants to bring back heroes when he was the one that ended their era? And who’s Romain, since judging by Klen’s words he’s just as powerful as Vordin.”
ヴォーデインがまた過去について少し情報を落としていったな。
ここであるコメントを読んでから、昔の「真の勇者」がヴォーデイン自身になったんじゃないか、あるいは少なくとも何らかの形で二人が融合したんじゃないかっていう考えが頭から離れない。
勇者の色がヴォーデインとまったく同じだからな。
それに、勇者の時代を終わらせたのがヴォーデインなのに、なぜ勇者を復活させたいのかという疑問もまだ残っている。
そしてローメインとは何者なんだ？
クレンの言葉からすると、ヴォーデインと同じくらい強いみたいだけど。
“What did Vordin mean that humans and dark beasts were closer before during the times of the true hero? Might be a localization issue but did he mean they were both on an equal plane?”
真の勇者の時代には、人間と魔獣が今より「近かった」っていうヴォーデインの言葉はどういう意味なんだろう？
翻訳の問題かもしれないけど、両者が対等な立場にいたって意味なのかな？
“So Vordin wants to end this stalemate of an era where there are no true heroes, by restoring the Legend with the help of the Toahs. But wasn’t he the one who defeated the last True Hero? Then again he was the only survivor of the four dark beast kings, so everyone might just have misleading information.”
つまりヴォーデインは、真の勇者が存在しない今の膠着した時代を終わらせるため、トアの力を借りて勇者伝承を復活させたいわけだ。
でも最後の「真の勇者」を倒したのって、ヴォーデインじゃなかったか？
とはいえ、四大魔獣王の中で生き残ったのが彼だけだったのなら、みんなが知っている情報そのものが間違っている可能性もあるな。
“I almost forgot about the Eslinns sending Owen to Luna Mountain. The dude’s party didn’t even last their first battle, and it looks like there are only two of them left. I was worried about what they’ll do while there, but it looks like their mission is to retrieve the lost Regalias. Does this mean we might see Alicia reunited with her original Regalia?”
エスリンがオーエンを月の山へ送っていたことを、ほとんど忘れてた。
あいつのパーティー、最初の戦闘すらまともに生き残れなくて、もう二人しか残ってないみたいだな。
向こうで何をするのか心配してたけど、どうやら任務は失われた至宝の回収らしい。
ってことは、アリシアが元々使っていた至宝と再会する可能性もあるのか？
“I have some respect for Naye trying to protect her students rather than running away despite being that scared, but it sounds like the crests allow Vordin to mind-control them (except for Alicia), at the cost of slowly killing them by increasing their powers. If Clevatess can keep summoning Dark Beasts with the power of the Toah book, he will just win by attrition before they can ever reach him.”
あれだけ怖がっているのに逃げず、生徒たちを守ろうとしているナイエのことは少し見直したよ。
ただ、紋によってヴォーデインは生徒たちを精神的に支配できるみたいだな。
アリシアは例外だけど。
しかも力を増幅する代償として、生徒たちは徐々に死に近づいているように見える。
クレバテスがトアの書の力で魔獣を召喚し続けられるなら、生徒たちが彼のところへ辿り着く前に消耗戦で勝てるだろう。
“Minor petpeeve not unique to this show but I dislike it when in media with a magic school the teachers are weaker than the students.
There’s a decent reason here, the Crest having students are not only using a more technologically advanced type of magic but are also getting boosted by a Lord, but it still grinds my gears a bit that the old crippled teacher is just barely keeping up and Naie isn’t even trying, proclaiming that the kids may stand a chance against Clevatess.
Also half of the faculty in this school are foreign spies incapable of using magic lol”
この作品だけの話じゃないけど、魔法学校ものなのに教師が生徒より弱い展開はちょっと苦手なんだよな。
今回はちゃんと理由があって、紋を持つ生徒たちは技術的に進んだ魔術を使っているだけじゃなく、魔獣王から強化まで受けている。
それでも、身体の不自由な老教師がギリギリ食らいついていて、ナイエに至ってはまともに戦おうともせず、「この子たちならクレバテス相手にも可能性がある」なんて言ってるのは少し引っかかる。
あと、この学校の教師陣の半分くらい外国のスパイで、しかも魔術を使えないの笑う。

あれは幻覚じゃない。
彼女はヴォーデインの鏡の世界に閉じ込められているんだ。
“Did Klen ever tell Alicia what Vordin actually looked like? So she was aiming for what she thought was the Lord of Dark Beasts when it was actually just a projection.
Also, Andrew’s backstory was like ten seconds long. That’s gotta be a new record for the shortest villain backstory scene in an anime (if we consider a kid being manipulated by a monster as a villain).”
クレンって、ヴォーデインが実際にどんな姿なのかアリシアに教えたことあったっけ？
つまりアリシアは魔獣王本人だと思って狙っていたけど、実際にはただの投影だったってことか。
それとアンドリューの過去回想、10秒くらいしかなかったな。
怪物に操られている子供を悪役と呼んでいいなら、アニメ史上最短クラスの悪役回想なんじゃないか。
感動・共感系

かわいそうなナイエ。
ただ生徒たちを守ろうとしてるだけなのに。

アンドリューにやられて終わるわけないからな。
ドレルの至宝は、欠片になってもまだ反撃できるだけの力が残ってるのが格好いい。
“It’s pretty cool that Alicia can see Gart in his true form. I don’t like how Gart is threatening Alicia but at least she found someone who can understand him and hopefully help.”
アリシアがガルトの本当の姿を見られるっていうのはかなり面白いな。
ガルトがアリシアを脅してるのは好きじゃないけど、少なくとも彼の言葉を理解できる相手と出会えた。
うまくいけば助けてもらえるかもしれない。

アリシアは状況の理不尽さを解決してから戦うのではなく、理不尽な状況の真っただ中で、それでも自分にできる行動を続けています。
頭蓋骨まで砕けながら前へ進もうとする姿が、海外ファンから悲鳴と笑いの両方を引き出したのは、その異常なまでの「反抗」が可視化されていたからなのかもしれません。

あれだけ怖がっているのに逃げず、生徒たちを守ろうとしているナイエのことは少し見直したよ。
ただ、紋によってヴォーデインは生徒たちを精神的に支配できるみたいだな。
アリシアは例外だけど。
しかも力を増幅する代償として、生徒たちは徐々に死に近づいているように見える。
クレバテスがトアの書の力で魔獣を召喚し続けられるなら、生徒たちが彼のところへ辿り着く前に消耗戦で勝てるだろう。
この「力を与えられた結果、逆に身体を支配されていく」という構図は、フランスの哲学者ミシェル・フーコーが論じた権力と身体の問題から考えることができます。
フーコーが注目した権力は、単純に上から「命令する」「禁止する」だけのものではありません。
人間の身体を訓練し、能力を高め、役に立つ存在へ変えていくこと自体も、権力の働きとして分析しました。
つまり「強くすること」と「支配すること」は、必ずしも正反対ではないのです。
今回の生徒たちも、紋によって通常以上の力を得ています。
一見すると、それは本人たちを強くする恩恵です。
しかし海外コメントが指摘しているように、その強化によって身体そのものが消耗し、さらにヴォーデインの意思に従わされているのだとすれば、与えられた力そのものが支配の装置になっていることになります。
強くなればなるほど自由になるのではなく、強くなればなるほどヴォーデインの目的を遂行する身体へ近づいていく。
その意味で今回の「紋」は、単なるパワーアップアイテムとは正反対の不気味さを持っています。
海外コメントにあった「クレンの魔獣より、自分たちの紋によって大きなダメージを受けている」という皮肉も、この構造を象徴していると言えるでしょう。

まとめと感想
『クレバテスⅡ-魔獣の王と偽りの勇者伝承-』第6幕「囁く声」は、アリシアの凄惨な戦いと、ヴォーデインの目的がさらに輪郭を見せ始めた回でした。
海外では特に、頭蓋骨を砕かれながらも眼球を押し戻して行動を続けるアリシアの姿に衝撃が集まり、「女版スバル」「アリシアであること、それは苦しみだ」といったコメントまで飛び出しています。
一方でナイエについても、戦いから逃げたい気持ちを隠そうともしていないのに、それでも生徒たちを守ろうとする姿を評価する声が見られました。
そして物語全体では、「真の勇者」を倒したはずのヴォーデインが、なぜ勇者伝承を復活させようとしているのかという大きな謎が残されています。
「停滞した時を動かす」という言葉は、単なる征服とは異なるヴォーデインの目的を感じさせます。
さらに紋によって強化されながら、その力によって傷ついていく生徒たちの姿も印象的でした。
クレバテスとヴォーデインがそれぞれの力を介してぶつかる状況が、今後どのような展開へ繋がっていくのでしょうか。
