１．You’re telling me Shizuri has powers like that and she’s not even on the podium? What kind of crazy OP shit do the ones above her have?
I had feeling that ITEM are the bad guys in the premiere, but this episode definitely confirmed it. I didn’t need Shizuri to tell Saiai that they’re not the good guys. That was clear within the first 10 minutes. What was also clear is that Frenda is best girl so far.
I know they’ve got lasers and magic and shit, but I refuse to believe Frenda does not have powers. If she doesn’t have powers like she claims that means every single bomb/missile/explosive are physical objects that take up space and she has to store somewhere. Where did she put them? Where are they coming from?
Going from them killing everyone in the building to Frenda taking Saiai shopping was quite the contrast. As soon as I saw scissors I knew was going to happen. The tag was going to be cut off as soon as employee said the account was frozen. At least we got to learn more about Shizuri’s family and get showcase of her hotness when she was talking to her servant/butler/whatever.
Looks like Choubi is going to be focus of the next episode so I wonder what she’s like.

第1話からアイテムは悪役なんじゃないかと思っていたけど、今回はっきりしたな。
沈利が最愛に「自分たちは善人じゃない」と説明するまでもなかったよ。
最初の10分で十分わかった。
それと、今のところフレンダが一番かわいいってこともな。
レーザーも魔術も存在する世界だけど、フレンダに能力がないなんて信じられない。
本人の言うとおり無能力者なら、あの爆弾やミサイルは全部実物で、どこかに収納しているはずだろ？
いったいどこに隠しているんだ？
どこから出てくるんだよ？
建物の中の人間を殺しまくった直後に、フレンダが最愛を買い物に連れていくなんて、すごい落差だった。
ハサミが出てきた瞬間、何が起きるかわかったよ。
店員が口座凍結を告げた時点で、タグはもう切られていたんだろうな。
少なくとも、沈利の家族について少しわかったし、使用人なのか執事なのかわからない相手と話しているときの彼女の色っぽさも堪能できた。
次回は超美が中心になりそうだけど、どんな子なのか気になるな。

３．I thought I was watching Invincible or The Boys for a moment. Lol. Too much killcount this episode. I also wonder, what ITEM could have been if they recruited both Kinuhata and Kuroyoru.

４．This felt like an episode of the Boys with all that laser murder
あのレーザーによる大量殺戮を見ていると、まるで『ザ・ボーイズ』の1話みたいだった。
５．Mugino sure likes those headshots.
Very polite of them to not kill the children and only take out the researchers and guards as per the letter of the contract.
I vaguely recognize the name Dark May Project so I assume it’s important that those kids lived for elsewhere in the larger story.
麦野は本当にヘッドショットが好きなんだな。
契約書の文言どおり、子供たちは殺さず、研究者と警備員だけを始末するなんて、ご丁寧なことだ。
「暗闇の五月計画」という名前には何となく聞き覚えがある。
あの子供たちが生き残ったことは、シリーズ全体の別のところで重要になってくるんだろうな。

So some science guy expermenting on kids again. Classic. This guy is full of shit trying to keep his life. Well everyoen is dead now at least. Oh mentioning TV girl again haha shes a menace. Frenda talkin about video games hah. I can see the appea this series might have given for frenda lovers.
People in tubes were these the experments? Oh flat girl is in 1 tank. Meltdowner wanting to save the kids interesting. So they were in the market for a close range fighter and thats where flat came in. So this place was trying to recreate accelerator? Interesting. Flat was the top result. So they released the other girl to have someone els to bladme for the attack not them hahha.
Flat girl is so confused hahaahaha. Shes happy to be out though. What did Frenda give her to wear?
So Meltdowner comes from a known family with connections. 1 of seven Level 5s i forget hw many there were…
FRENDA ROASTING FLAT GIRL FOR BEING FLATTER THAN HER THE NERVE! Oh Frenda will dress up both of them…. So she wants something easy to move in, the dress makes the air around her feel wierd? Oh she got a Bicycle outfit i didnt notice, like Best girl Suzuha! They have a rule to dress up the next member by the last… AIM stalker had Frenda try on the track suit colection hahahahaha. Oh yeah Fkat had nothign else on jst the jacket well time to get the rest.

７．It’s scary, but also funny, how rapidly those disposable goons just disappear after a dose of Meltdowner. Good thing Anti-Skill showed up fast enough for all of the other Dark May kids to get out alive. It’s great being able to Leonardo DiCaprio whenever some other Level 5 gets mentioned. The English on the Nitrogen Girls descriptions was solid. LMAO at Takitsubo subjecting Frenda to tracksuit hell. I can’t believe that ITEM’s presumably enemies would attack their bank account. What kind of heinous monster stops their shopping!?
使い捨ての雑魚たちが、原子崩しを一発食らっただけであっという間に消えるのは、怖いけど笑えてしまう。
警備員たちが十分早く駆けつけてくれたおかげで、暗闇の五月計画のほかの子供たちも全員生き延びられてよかった。
ほかのレベル5の名前が出るたびに、レオナルド・ディカプリオみたいに指をさして反応できるのが楽しい。
窒素使いの少女たちの英語の説明もちゃんとしていたな。
滝壺がフレンダにジャージ地獄を味わわせたのには爆笑したよ。
アイテムの敵らしき連中が銀行口座を攻撃するなんて信じられない。
買い物を邪魔するなんて、いったいどんな極悪人だよ！
８．So that’s how they met Kinuhata? By kidnapping her? Lol.

笑い・ユーモア系
１．My theory is that Frenda’s superpower is pulling explosives out of her ass, and she is too embarassed to admit it, so she pretends to have no power. Because there was no way she was hiding all those bombs under her skirt, right ?
All our cast seems very villainous, particularly Mugino, with their usual victims being even worse, but maybe the new girl will be more sympathetic.
They also seem very overpowered, but surely at some point they will actually have to face opponents with superpowers that could be a challenge to them.
Or maybe the challenge will come from the bank freezing their accounts. Either they have not gotten paid, or someone realized they were criminals and froze their accounts, or someone hacked the bank and stole their money. Whoever did that certainly has guts, because I bet that Mugino’s reaction will be to go berserk and disintegrate them.

だって、あれだけの爆弾を全部スカートの中に隠せるわけがないだろ？
主要キャラはみんな悪役っぽいし、特に麦野がそうだ。
ただ、普段の標的は彼女たち以上にひどい連中みたいだな。
新しく入った子には、もう少し感情移入できるかもしれない。
彼女たちは圧倒的に強そうだけど、いつかは苦戦するほど強力な能力者と戦うことになるんだろう。
それとも、本当の難敵は銀行口座の凍結だったりして。
報酬が支払われていないのか、犯罪者だとばれて口座を凍結されたのか、それとも誰かが銀行をハッキングして金を盗んだのか。
誰の仕業にせよ、相当な度胸だよ。
麦野が激怒して、そいつを跡形もなく消し飛ばす姿が目に浮かぶ。
２．Frenda pulling all those large missiles from under her skirt with no esper powers always made me raise an eyebrow, hoping she had a scientific bag of holding, but their is a shot here where it looks like she’s pulling one straight out of her ass, which had me almost spew my coffee. Yes, Toaru has always been a moderately ecchi series, with Index having her clothes blown off 2 minutes in, and Misaka being groped while naked rather graphically by a raging randy teleporter in episode one of Railgun, but they still manage to make me shake my head in disbelief from time to time.
It’s nice seeing anything from this series, but as we know what happens with Item in the present of the main anime (Poor Frenda, I feel bad for Saten), I would have preferred to see Dark Matter, maybe if this does well enough. Can’t wait for Railgun 4 (U?), and I’ve given up hoping for Index NT. Were those english novels ever released? Been forever since I checked.
能力者でもないフレンダがスカートの下から巨大なミサイルを何発も取り出すのは、いつも不思議だった。
科学的な四次元バッグでも持っているのかと思っていたんだけど、今回はまるでお尻から直接取り出しているように見えるカットがあって、コーヒーを吹き出しそうになったよ。
確かに『とある』シリーズは昔から多少お色気要素がある。
『禁書目録』では開始2分でインデックスの服が吹き飛ぶし、『超電磁砲』の第1話では、興奮した変態テレポーターが裸の美琴に抱きつく描写もあった。
それでも、ときどき信じられない演出で驚かされるよ。
このシリーズの新作が見られるのはうれしい。
でも、本編アニメでのアイテムのその後を知っているからな。
かわいそうなフレンダ……佐天のことも気の毒に思うよ。
個人的には『ダークマター』のほうが見たかったかもしれない。
この作品が成功すれば、そちらも実現するかな。
『超電磁砲』第4期も待ちきれない。
『新約禁書目録』のアニメ化はもう諦めているけど。
そういえば、英語版の小説って発売されたんだっけ？
最後に確認してからずいぶん経つな。

And I’m afraid that freeze can’t be melted with the meltdown skill, and there’s a ¥780K bill coming to Mugino’s way…
Oh and Frenda… You don’t need to welcome a new member of Item in that way right, what a pervert, but guess this lays the foundation for Saiai’s quest for getting the [Railgun T] Bust Upper right?
Oh and for that new girl looking for Item at the very end, I wonder what brings her here, to the dark side?

残念ながら、原子崩しでもこの凍結は溶かせない。
しかも麦野には78万円の請求が待っている……。
それにフレンダ、新しいメンバーをそんなふうに歓迎しなくてもいいだろ。

でも、これが最愛の『超電磁砲T』でのバストアッパー探しにつながるのかもしれないな。
最後にアイテムを探していた新しい女の子も気になる。
どうして彼女は暗部に足を踏み入れようとしているんだろう？
４．in a certain fanfic, Kamijou Touma calls Frenda, “Dimension Panties” because she keeps pulling out explosives, rockets, a combat knife, etc from under her skirt. Frenda loses their brawl though. XD
ある二次創作では、上条当麻がフレンダを「四次元パンツ」と呼んでいるんだ。
スカートの下から爆発物やロケット弾、戦闘用ナイフなんかを次々取り出すからね。

６．For sure Frenda’s power has to be hammer space under her skirt, from where she can pull all sort of things.
Similar to Sento Izusu (50 cents!) from Amagi Brilliant Park being able to pull out her Mauser from any bare skin on her thigh 😛

８．Cute girls doing cute things like beaming people, buildings, and pulling up some weapons under a skirt.
And being shown Takitsubo wearing different outfits is always a nice treat.
かわいい女の子たちが、かわいいことをしているアニメだな。
人や建物をビームで吹き飛ばしたり、スカートの下から武器を取り出したりね。
それに、滝壺のいろんな衣装が見られるのは、いつだってうれしいサービスだ。
深い考察系
１．The #3 is a top tier electromaster. She has less direct firepower than Mugino, but 10x the utility
The #2 has the ability to create and control matter that does not obey the laws of physics and has properties he can freely manipulate
The #1 has the ability to freely control vectors, including a passive reflection that automatically redirects any incoming attacks subconciously
Its also worth noting that ranks arent based solely on strength (if they were, the #7 would probably be ranked 3 or 4), but also utility, usefulness in research, and possible usefulness to The Plan™
Things also start getting much crazier once you factor in the magic side, but Kamachi *really* doesnt like having the series’ spinoffs acknowledge the magic side outside of a few Railgun SS volumes

もし強さだけが基準なら、第7位はおそらく3位か4位になっているだろう。
能力の応用性や研究への有用性、さらには「あの計画」にどれだけ役立つ可能性があるかも評価されている。
魔術サイドまで考慮すると、話はさらにとんでもなく複雑になる。
でも鎌池先生は、『超電磁砲』の一部の短編を除いて、スピンオフで魔術サイドに触れるのを本当に好まないんだよな。
２．For your first bit, their rank isn’t based on their strength, but is based on how much their powers can be applied to the scientists of Academy City. Its why Misaka, who in terms of sure fire power, is ranked higher than Mugino as her powers can do a wider rang of things
最初の話についてだけど、順位は強さで決まっているわけじゃない。
学園都市の科学者たちが、その能力をどれだけ研究に利用できるかで決まっているんだ。
だから、純粋な火力では麦野に劣る美琴のほうが上位なんだよ。
美琴の能力のほうが、はるかに幅広い用途に使えるからね。
３．Accelerator just played at being a villain, his heart was never in it. Mugino is a true psychopathic villain from a family of them. Unfortunately for the rest of humanity she became a level 5 instead of just another thug.
一方通行（アクセラレータ）は悪役を演じていただけで、心の底から悪人だったわけじゃない。
でも麦野は本物のサイコパス的な悪役だ。
しかも、そういう連中がそろった家系の出身なんだ。
人類にとって不幸だったのは、彼女がただのチンピラではなく、レベル5になってしまったことだな。
４．I don’t know the source material of this spin-off, but I find “curious” how we are getting cameos of characters from NT with Fremea before and now Umidori.
It’s an unfortunate product of the order these spinoffs are adapted in.
Item is the latest spinoff of the Toaru series to begin publishing and only started in 2023, well into when Index GT started after NT .
To put this in perspective, it’s like if a phase 4 MCU movie was made right after Avengers Infinity War or if Fate Strange Fake was animated before the Heavens Feel movies (I think; I’m not as brushed up on those two properties as I am Toaru )
このスピンオフの原作は知らないけど、前回のフレメアに続いて、今回は黒夜海鳥と、『新約』の登場人物が顔を見せているのは興味深いな。
これはスピンオフのアニメ化の順番が生んだ、ちょっと残念な現象だと思う。
『アイテム』は『とある』シリーズの中でも最も新しく刊行が始まったスピンオフで、2023年に始まったばかりなんだ。
その時点では『新約』の後の『創約』もすでに始まっていた。
たとえるなら、『アベンジャーズ／インフィニティ・ウォー』の直後にMCUフェーズ4の映画を公開するようなものかな。
あるいは『Fate/strange Fake』を『Heaven’s Feel』の映画より先にアニメ化するようなものかもしれない。
もっとも、その二作品については『とある』ほど詳しくないけどね。
５．We got our introduction to the dark may project. Espers implanted with a bit of Accelerator. If you listen to Saiai’s sound effect when she gets hit it’d sound familiar.
Its such a cool idea to try to replicate Accelerator and we get Saiai as one of the successful results with her own version of it. Just makes the connected world more interesting.

一方通行（アクセラレータ）の要素を少し植え付けられた能力者たちだ。
最愛が攻撃を受けたときの効果音をよく聞くと、聞き覚えのある音に感じるはずだよ。
一方通行を再現しようとする発想自体がすごく面白い。
その成功例の一人が最愛で、彼女なりの形で能力を再現しているわけだ。
こういうつながりがあると、作品世界がさらに魅力的になるね。
６．Hmm, anyone else notice that they never SHOWED any of the scientists getting vaporized? Not sure if I missed one, but I’m pretty sure the only people we saw getting melted were the guards, as in only people who were armed. Even the head guy, it was painfully obvious what happened, but we didnt SEE it like with the guards. Curious if it was the studio, publisher or some law in Japan.
Anyway, damn accounts were frozen? Thats ultra-unfortunate. Wonder if it was Mugino’s family, or if their employer had an issue with the job? I’m assuming the later which is why the other girl, that I definitely dont remember in the future, is showing up. So, is she a plant? Or will she just not survive?

見逃していたらわからないけど、実際に溶かされるところを見せられたのは警備員だけだったと思う。

責任者の男も、何が起きたかは明白だったけど、警備員のときのようには映さなかった。
制作会社の判断なのか、出版社の意向なのか、それとも日本の法律が関係しているのか気になるな。
それはともかく、口座が凍結されたって？
超不運だな。
麦野の家族が関係しているのか、それとも依頼主が今回の仕事に何か不満を持ったのか。
個人的には後者だと思う。
だから、あの新しい女の子が現れたんじゃないかな。
彼女は後の時代には出てきた記憶がまったくない。
敵が送り込んだスパイなのか？
それとも生き残れないのかな？
７．Even beyond being at least a little Ecchi, I found that shot of her pulling the bombs from her ass fascinating because it smells like it is telling us something beyond “she’s cute, enjoy this shot” but I’m not sure what. If they just wanted us to get a flash of her legs from behind they didn’t have to do it while she was pulling bombs out of no where.
多少お色気要素があるのは確かだけど、彼女がお尻のあたりから爆弾を取り出すカットは、妙に興味深かった。
単に「かわいいだろ、このカットを楽しんでくれ」という以上の、何かを伝えようとしている気がするんだ。
それが何なのかはわからないけど。
後ろから脚をちらっと見せたいだけなら、何もないところから爆弾を取り出す場面でやる必要はなかったはずだ。
８．As usual they cleaned up with no issue. Looks like the real antagonists are coming in next episode.
Kinuhata is way too cute, Frenda is having the time of her life with a new dress up doll. The moment her credit card got declined gave me second hand embarrassment though.
Dark may project finally revealed from the novels, an experiment that tried to mass produce Accelerators. Good thing they did not succeed, imagine how deadly that would be.
They also finally referenced number 6 for the level 5s, think this is the first time an anime adapt mentioned the 6th existing at all.
いつもどおり、彼女たちは何の問題もなく片付けたな。
どうやら次回から本格的な敵が登場しそうだ。
絹旗がかわいすぎる。
フレンダは新しい着せ替え人形を手に入れて、心底楽しんでいるな。
ただ、クレジットカードが使えなかった瞬間は、見ているこっちまで恥ずかしくなったよ。
小説に登場した暗闇の五月計画が、ついに明かされた。
一方通行（アクセラレータ）を量産しようとした実験なんだよな。
成功しなくて本当によかった。
成功していたら、どれだけ危険だったことか。
それから、レベル5の第6位についてもようやく言及されたな。
アニメで第6位の存在が語られたのは、今回が初めてじゃないかな。
感動・共感系
１．ITEM might be a criminal group and part of the Dark Side, but they sure do live the high life with a swanky limo van they take to their ops all the while they talk like girls out on a normal girls’ trip instead of an annihilation mission.
The OP is very fitting for a series about a Dark Side girl group as the ladies look tough, live their daily lives, and contend with all manner of quirky (and possibly psychotic) other girls in Academy City. Of course we also get Mugino’s WINNING smile and her vaporizing some poor sap who is still alive.
Yes, Mugino can eradicate basically anyone or anything in her path with impunity while casually discussing how she needs to lose leg flab. Maybe she should do Ring Fit or something.
Thank you Frenda for being dedicated to Takitsubo sexy cosplay so we can get her out of that tracksuit!
Sorry science guy, this is NOT the kind of Level 5 who would show you mercy, turn you in to the authorities, and give you a chance to repent…this is the type of Level 5 who just basically vaporizes someone as casually as she orders her coffee and who is only there because they’re working for someone who does NOT want their research to get leaked.
Well, thank goodness they didn’t specify that the frozen kids being experimented on needed to be done away with too otherwise ITEM would have killed a lot of kids…besides, ITEM is still in need of a fighter type, and who better to find one than in a group with ACCELERATOR’S thought patterns!?
Welcome to the team Kinuhata! And…um, I hope Umidori is okay taking the fall for all the dead guys she has no idea she supposedly killed.
I’m not surprised Mugino is a rich kid who hails from an ancient and noble family, though rather than the heiress to a grain company she’s actually a gang princess even if they try to hide it well. She seems to get along with the family butler though.

Honestly…I can’t see Frenda in a tracksuit, not gonna lie.
Takitsubo finally found her iconic outfit and style! Just in time for ITEM to realize they’re accounts are cut off so they can’t pay for the outfit they just cut the tag off! Sucks to be them!
The ED is a perfect theme for a bad girl group as we get Mugino, Frenda, and Takitsubo looking snazzy in suits as they test the “new recruits” in Kinuhata and the other girl. And of course, since they’re “bad girls,” we need some on-point mugshots!
Who IS that girl at the end voiced by Hana Hishikawa who thinks it’s her destiny to join ITEM?
アイテムは暗部に属する犯罪組織かもしれないけど、ずいぶん豪華な暮らしをしているな。
任務には高級リムジン風のバンで向かうし、殲滅作戦中なのに普通の女子旅行みたいな会話をしている。
オープニングも、暗部の少女たちを描く作品にぴったりだ。
彼女たちの強さや日常生活、学園都市にいる一癖も二癖もある、場合によっては精神的に危険そうな少女たちとの対決が描かれている。
もちろん、麦野の最高の笑顔と、まだ生きている哀れな男を蒸発させる姿も見られる。
麦野は脚の贅肉を落としたいなんて気軽に話しながら、目の前の人間も物も容赦なく消し飛ばせるんだ。
リングフィットでもやればいいんじゃないかな。
フレンダ、滝壺にセクシーな衣装を着せようと頑張ってくれてありがとう！
おかげで、ようやくあのジャージから解放されたよ。
残念だったな、科学者のおじさん。
このレベル5は、お前を見逃して当局に引き渡し、反省する機会を与えてくれるような相手じゃない。
コーヒーを注文するのと同じくらい気軽に人間を蒸発させるタイプなんだ。
しかも、彼女たちが来たのは、研究内容を漏らされたくない誰かに雇われたからにすぎない。
実験台にされていた冷凍状態の子供たちまで始末しろという指定がなくて、本当によかった。
そんな命令だったら、アイテムは大勢の子供たちを殺していただろうからね。
それに、アイテムにはまだ戦闘要員が必要だった。
一方通行（アクセラレータ）の思考パターンを植え付けられた子供たちの中から探すなんて、これ以上ない選択だろう。
絹旗、チームへようこそ！
それから海鳥……自分が知らない間に殺したことにされている人たちの罪を、うまく引き受けられるといいな。
麦野が由緒ある名家のお嬢様だというのも、それほど驚かない。
ただ、穀物会社の跡取り娘というより、実際は裏社会の組織のお姫様みたいなものなんだな。
本人たちはうまく隠しているつもりでもね。
家の執事とは仲がよさそうだった。
改めて、絹旗、アイテムへようこそ！
女の子のグループに入ったら、当然みんなで買い物に行って、フレンダより胸が平らかもしれないなんてからかわれるわけだ。
でも、フレンダは女の子を着せ替えたい欲望を満たさずにはいられないんだな！
正直、ジャージ姿のフレンダは想像できないよ。
滝壺もようやくおなじみの服装とスタイルを見つけた！
ところが、タグを切ってしまった服の代金を払おうとしたところで、口座が使えないことが発覚するなんて。
ついてないな。
エンディングも悪い女の子たちのグループにぴったりだ。
スーツで格好よく決めた麦野、フレンダ、滝壺が、絹旗ともう一人の新入りを試している。
しかも悪い女の子たちだから、もちろん犯罪者らしい顔写真も必要だよな！
それにしても、最後に登場した菱川花菜が声を担当する女の子は誰なんだ？
アイテムに入るのが自分の運命だと思っているみたいだけど。
２．Ive been a Toaru diehard for almost a decade, but it wasn’t until this spinoff that I notice just how downright SEXY Mugino is.
Props to Haimura Kiyotaka (LN illustrator) for the design, but hats off to Nilitsu (character artist for this anime) for really nailing her. She is downright beautiful.
もう10年近く『とある』シリーズの熱心なファンをやっているけど、このスピンオフを見るまで、麦野がここまで色っぽいとは気づかなかった。
原作小説のイラストを担当したはいむらきよたかのデザインも素晴らしいけど、アニメのキャラクターデザインを担当したニリツの仕事には脱帽だよ。
本当に美しい。
３．The Railgun anime is definitely worth a watch if this anime is to your speed. However, it leans a bit more on the CGDCT angle, keeping things a bit lighter and fluffier (for the most part).
The Index anime isn’t terrible, but it definitely has its issues as an adaptation. The original light novels are definitely worth your time if you’re a reader, but in a pinch the manga adaptation is a pretty good adaptation as well that I personally prefer over the anime.
このアニメが気に入ったなら、『超電磁砲（レールガン）』のアニメも絶対に見る価値があるよ。
ただし、あちらはかわいい女の子たちの日常を描く要素がやや強くて、全体的にはもう少し明るくてゆるい雰囲気なんだ。
『禁書目録（インデックス）』のアニメも悪くはないけど、原作のアニメ化としてはいくつか問題がある。
読書が好きなら原作ライトノベルは間違いなくおすすめだよ。
手軽に楽しみたいなら漫画版もかなりよくできていて、個人的にはアニメより好きだな。

５．Index is considered the best in the source material as far as the wider series goes, it’s just the anime is a poor adaptation, I’d highly recommend the novels, or even manga
シリーズ全体で見ると、原作の『禁書目録（インデックス）』が一番評価されていると思う。
ただ、アニメ化の出来があまりよくないんだ。
だから原作小説、あるいは漫画版を強くおすすめするよ。
６．Dios, cómo amo esta franquicia. Creo que este spin-off es de los que mejor están aprovechando el mundo de Index, en especial el lado científico.
ああ、本当にこのシリーズが大好きだ。

８．I’m also enjoying it. Have to admit the “ultra” verbal tic was my main annoyance. Though perhaps I’ll get used to it. Odd repeated verbal tics are common enough in anime but for some reason it feels worse when it’s a recognizable word rather than just an invented or Japanese one. Ah well. A small character irritation in a very fun episode.
