正直、自分もかなり引き込まれた！
明らかに愛情を込めて描かれた作品を見て、先生が泣いてしまったのも責められないよ。

同じ漫画を7年間も借り続けて、それが人生を変えたと想像してみてほしい。
今ではポコ太は安海の日常に深く入り込みすぎて、彼女のイマジナリーフレンドになっている。
だってポコ太が「漫画の勇者ヒンメルならそうした」って言うんだから。
実際、貸本の中に『フリーレン』があるのも面白いし、その店主の声をフリーレン役の種﨑敦美さんが担当しているのも独特だ。
ちなみに☆野0のTwitterハンドルも面白い。
「星」はstarで、「零」はzeroだから、ハンドルが☆no0になっている。
第2話を見ると、手島さんの漫画への批評、つまりデジタル時代の娯楽の多様化や書店・出版社の衰退という話も、より実感しやすい。
だからこそ、課題が1話ではなく1冊分の漫画を描くことになっているんだ。
そして赤福の主な動機が、ただエアコンのある部屋というのもかなり面白い。
まあ分かるけどね。
夏はだいたい暑いし。
待って、あれは本物の小学館の建物だな。
でも原作が小学館から出ているから、制作委員会が描写の許可を取るのは簡単だったのかもしれない。
OPも本当に楽しい！
安海だけでなく、手島もこのアニメのもう一人の主人公になることを示している感じがする。
心のキャラデザは山田杏奈を思い出す。
“How much heart this show has can’t be understated. After we learn how Ai fell in love with manga, we get the same from Teshima-sensei. For similar reasons to AI, she decided to draw manga. She learned quickly it’s much different to read manga than it is to create it. We got the saying, Don’t make your passion your career. But we can see sensei still truly loves manga. She really loves the heart and work that Ai put into her attempt at manga. It moves in her in such a way you can tell she loves it, and you get the sense she is burned out from creating manga; she never focused on why she fell in love with it. Perhaps this could push to motivate Sensei to draw manga more again. It’s clear that Kokoro will probably end up being the 3rd club member. Still, you can tell she is suffocating with her mom. Honestly, getting lost in manga could really help her. Meanwhile, Sachi is quite the troublemaker xD.”

安海と似たような理由で、彼女も漫画を描こうと決めた。
そして、漫画を読むことと作ることはまったく違うのだとすぐに学んだ。
「情熱を仕事にするな」という言葉がある。
でも先生が今でも本当に漫画を愛していることは分かる。
安海が漫画に込めた心と努力を、先生は本当に愛している。
それに心を動かされる姿を見れば、先生が漫画を愛しているのは明らかだし、同時に漫画を描くことに燃え尽きてしまったようにも感じる。
彼女は、自分がなぜ漫画を好きになったのかに目を向けられなくなっていたのかもしれない。
もしかすると、これが先生にもう一度漫画を描かせるきっかけになるのかもしれない。
心が3人目の部員になるのは明らかだと思う。
それでも、彼女が母親との関係で息苦しさを感じているのは伝わってくる。
正直、漫画に没頭することは彼女の助けになるかもしれない。
一方で、幸はなかなかの問題児だな。

Hahaha the flashback even admits to it, though I wonder if she was going over detailed for 3 hours per panel. LOL I love her imagining what the editor is thinking. Hah referencing On Writing too. “It’s even harder if you love it.” is such a wise and important line to drop here. Art is harder the more you want it to be good, the more refined your own taste is. I wonder if she doesn’t have the magma, or if it is just buried under too much self doubt. I got a bit misty eyed when Sensei realized the manga, though bad, was drawn with a sincere love of the artform. And we end the episode introducing the third manga club member. This really is a love letter to stories and why they matter.”

そしてまたアニメで喫煙シーンだ。
この作品でみんな肺がんになりそうだ。
回想でもそのことを認めていて笑ったけど、1コマに3時間かけて細かく描き込みすぎていたのかな。
編集者が何を考えているかを先生が想像するところが好きだ。

「好きだからこそ、もっと難しい」。
ここで出てくるには、本当に賢くて重要な言葉だ。
芸術は、良いものにしたいと思えば思うほど、自分の審美眼が洗練されればされるほど、難しくなる。
先生の中にマグマがもうないのか、それとも強すぎる自己疑念の下に埋もれているだけなのか気になる。
下手ではあっても、芸術への真摯な愛で描かれた漫画だと先生が気づいたとき、少し涙ぐんでしまった。
そしてエピソードの最後には、3人目の漫画研究会メンバーが紹介される。
これは本当に、物語と、それがなぜ大切なのかへのラブレターだ。

“Sensei’s backstory, showing her getting the life sapped out of her while grinding to make a commercially viable work, seems to be a common experience for aspiring mangakas. But I like how they managed to connect her story to Yasumi’s; both of them going back to that one manga that they really loved as their guiding compass. So although Yasumi’s first manga might be complete ass, the heart and soul put into it managed to strike a chord with her. Random, but I like how Sensei’s voice is so much more expressive when she’s not doing the strict teacher act.”
商業的に成立する作品を作るためにひたすら努力する中で、先生の生命力が吸い取られていく回想は、漫画家志望者にとってよくある経験のように見える。
でも、その先生の物語を安海の物語と結びつけたところが好きだ。
二人とも、自分が本当に愛したあの一冊の漫画を道しるべにしている。
だから安海の最初の漫画が完全にひどい出来だったとしても、そこに込められた心と魂が先生の琴線に触れたんだ。
話はそれるけど、先生が厳格な教師を演じていないとき、声がずっと表情豊かになるところも好き。
感動・共感系
“Sensei’s background story was really hard hitting. She believes that the magma inside her has run out, but I got the feeling that it is just sleeping and Ai is going to make it erupt again. Ai’s manga was amazingly horrible. It was the product of an amateur, but as Teshima saw, it was the product of pure love and dedication. This manga was a rough diamond. In this regard it reminds me of “Whisper of the Heart” with Shizuku writing her story to prove herself, producing an unpolished gem herself. This might be one of my personal highlights this season.”

“It’s kind of interesting to me that out of all the potential shows this season, this one is one of my favorites so far. It has such a cozy vibe. Ai being all happy about her manga while it is a mess of ideas is such a good representation of your first drafts in pretty much any draft. But she has the positive outlook to still love what she created and not get dragged down by comparing it to something else. The teacher is also great. I love her super stoic voice acting. It’s so over the top but also not so much that it distracts from the scene itself. Oh yeah and Ai’s friend is a menace. Blackmailing the teacher immediately.”
今期のいろいろな作品の中で、これが今のところかなりお気に入りになっているのが自分でも面白い。
すごく居心地のいい雰囲気がある。
アイデアが散らかりまくっている漫画なのに、安海が自分の漫画を嬉しそうにしているのは、ほとんどどんな初稿にも当てはまるすごく良い表現だと思う。
でも彼女は、自分が作ったものをまだ愛せる前向きさを持っていて、他のものと比べて落ち込んだりしない。
先生も素晴らしい。
あの超無機質な演技が好きだ。
かなり大げさなのに、シーンの邪魔になるほどではない。
ああ、それと安海の友達は危険人物だな。
即座に先生を脅していた。
“Decided to watch this on a whim. Teared up during both episodes. This show is something special.”
なんとなく気まぐれで見始めた。
でも2話とも涙ぐんだ。
この作品は何か特別なものがある。
“Two for two episodes now that this show has managed to make me shed a tear. When a show can instantly emotionally captivate me like that, I know it’s a keeper.”
これで2話連続、この作品に泣かされた。
こんなふうに一瞬で感情を掴んでくる作品は、間違いなく見続けるべき作品だと分かる。
